Our Story

ZANO is a Switzerland-based fashion brand inspired by the rich artistic heritage of Uzbekistan and reimagined through a modern luxury lens. Blending refined European elegance with traditional Central Asian craftsmanship, ZANO creates statement pieces that celebrate culture, individuality, and timeless design.

Each collection is designed for women who appreciate elevated silhouettes, artistic expression, and authentic craftsmanship. Our pieces combine contemporary tailoring with traditional Uzbek textile artistry, creating garments that feel both sophisticated and deeply meaningful.

At the heart of ZANO lies the beauty of Uzbek ikat — one of the world’s most distinctive and historically treasured fabrics.

The fabric of the garment is hand-made in Uzbekistan from Uzbek cotton and hand-dyed the way it was dyed for centuries. The whole fabric-making process takes 37 steps and is protected by UNESCO.

Because Uzbek ikat is very narrow (only 35–40 cm), one garment requires several fabric panels carefully matched together. This process is completed entirely by hand and cannot be mass-produced, making every piece truly unique.

By preserving these centuries-old techniques while presenting them in a modern luxury context, ZANO bridges heritage craftsmanship with contemporary fashion, offering wearable art designed to stand out with elegance and authenticity.
